House of Manna Auditorium

I n the early part of her ministry the Lord gave Aquilla a vision of a "tract of land and a work that would touch Nations!" Today the
Retreat is a reality. The Speaker's lodge, "House of Manna", is now the temporary auditorium seating 500. The children's building, the "Caleb and Joshua Building", serves as a children's church and fellowship hall. Beautiful groves provide the believer with solitude.

A new gathering place, "The Partner Lodge", is now complete. This beautiful 'Lodge' has 25 bedrooms, a dining room to seat 100 or more, and a "Great Room" where guests may enjoy fellowship.
The PARTNER LODGE is now built and furnished.  At present we are working on the landscaping.
 

The Future is Bright

 F uture plans for the Retreat include a large auditorium, an amphitheater, the School of Ministry training center, recreational facilities and expansion of the camping facilities. The Retreat buildings now provide facilities for
The Dove Fellowship Church (pastored by Aquilla's son Larry), Retreats, Praise Rallies, and seminar-type meetings. Upon completion of the lodge, the facilities will be available to Christian organizations for rental when not in use.

The Retreat itself is a testimony to the working of the Holy Spirit's gifts. In the Spring of 1979, as Aquilla lay resting, the Word of the Lord came loud and clear in her spirit. "Get up!", the Lord said. "I'm going to show you the land." Her spirit leaped within her as the Lord continued to speak, "Go out on Highway 2208; between 10 and 15 miles out, you will see a dirt road on your left. There will be a building on the right side of this road; the land is just down the road." Never having heard of Highway 2208, she had to inquire as to its location. With great excitement in her spirit, she drove past the beautiful ranch land. About 12 miles out, she saw what she had been searching for ... the dirt road ... the building ... the LAND!

Certain that the 100 acres of land had been provided for the ministry by the Lord, the land was purchased. On October 13, 1979, The Dove Christian Retreat was established. It was a time of praise and thanksgiving, for God had brought His Word to pass.
